Each year the VPPC organizes several events in the area, including the Winter Carnival in conjunction with the Vernon Winter Carnival, the Poultry Show at the Armstrong Interior Provincial Exhibition & Stampede (IPE), and of course, the Fall FeatherFest – a stand alone show for fanciers and the public alike. Over the years, the VPPC has also facilitated many educational sessions/workshops for anyone with an interest on poultry related topics such as biosecurity, informational sessions on protocols to protect against Avian Influenza, and 4-H workshops on how to breed or show your poultry. In addition to these public events, the club often holds club events such as a BBQ in summer and a Christmas dinner and gift exchange.
